When we talk about raw food, we're referring to fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and grains that are consumed in their natural, uncooked state. These vibrant and nutrient-dense foods are rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants that are often diminished or destroyed by cooking. By consuming raw fruits and vegetables, we provide our bodies with a powerful dose of essential nutrients that support our overall well-being.
One of the most significant benefits of a raw food diet is its positive impact on our health. Numerous studies have shown that a plant-based diet can lower the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer. By eliminating meat from our plates, we reduce the intake of saturated fats and cholesterol, both of which are linked to these health conditions. Additionally, the abundance of fibers found in raw food aids digestion and promotes a healthy gut, further enhancing our immune system.
In next lines you will learn more in details about deeper impact that what you eat have on your body, mind and spirit.
“Life is too short not to eat raw and it's even shorter if you don't.”

Nature Has all the Answers for Our Question's
There are certain facts that we as a species have underestimated. They are as simple as possible and that could be the reason why no one is paying attention to them in this modern day of living. Amidst the cosmic canvas, Nature wield its brush sculpting mountains and breathing life in every leaf and living creature. There are no mistakes made. Nature itself is the creation of an infinite source and infinite intelligence. We are an extension of that same source. Many of us have suppressed this fact deep down and forgotten in the circumstances of growing up.
Human Body: Universe of It's own
When we compare the anatomy of humans and animals at first glance, we can see that humans have more similarities with herbivores than carnivores.
Humans have four types of teeth: incisors, canines, premolars, and molars, which each have a specific function. The incisors cut the food, the canines tear the food and the molars and premolars crush the food. While human canines may tear the food they are nothing like sharp canines of true carnivores. Our mouth are small and can fit only particular amount of food inside. Our jaws can open and close as well as move forwards, backwards and side-to-side. Cheetah with its strong jaw and and sharp teeth can kill her pray with a bite and then tear her apart and swallow whole chunks of flesh.
Fascinating design that humans have as a main part of their body are hands with long fingers and nails. Everyday life would be unfeasible without the function of capture, manipulation, sensory and tactile capabilities. Fingers and nails do not have the strength and ability to rip open flesh. But on the other hand, they can pick up fruits and vegetables easily and naturally.
Furthermore, humans have two legs to stand up tall. With their height trees of cherries and apples are easily accessible to us. With our long legs and arms, we can easily harvest the fruits. And with our nose smell juices and evaluate the quality of fruits.
Each piece of the puzzle comes together naturally and perfectly. Logic and reason, but also intuition, if we listen to them, tell us the same thing. Human beings are designed physically and spiritually to eat raw fruits, vegetables and nuts. The only question that remains is: Do you listen to your body and the inner wise voice that is given to each of us?
Main Differences Between Humans & Animals
In order to round up and complete the story of the infinite intelligence of nature, we will now make a major comparison between the two species that coexist on this planet - human and animal.
In the beginning of this section we mentioned that humans have small mouth with teeth that are designed rather more for crushing the food than tearing it. Animals with its sharp blades can kill and cut of pieces of flesh, skin and organs. They have much bigger mouth so that they can swallow big chunks of flesh without chewing. They are not seasoning or cooking their prays, like humans.
The scene is raw - blood, skin, the smell of death, the crunch of bones, juices from organs, flies.
With that vision in mind most humans would feel at least discomfort but more likely nauseous. For humans to be able to eat meat they must first season it and let it sit in spices for several hours, then cook it at 75°C.
Carnivores are with their strong bodies and fast legs designed for chasing their meal. The fastest Cheetah Sara can run 100-meter dash in 5.95 seconds while fastest human sprinter Usain Bolt ran the same distance for 9.58 seconds. Lets put it in perspective, Bolt is the fastest human being but most of population does not even have condition to run several laps around playground. It would be a different story if the statistics were reversed and there were more Bolts in the world. But it is not, which is telling you something - it is not natural. We do not have capacity to to run after pray and kill it with bare hands, but we can outsmart them and use tools to kill them.
With external differences, there are also major internal differences. Lets start from top to bottom of digestive system.
Firstly, humans saliva contains enzymes that begins digestion process while we are chewing our food. Carnivores saliva does not contain digestive enzymes.
Humans digestive tract is very long and complex, measuring 9 meters all together. Meat - eating animals have short and straight digestive tract that is resulting in their transit time of 2 to 3 hours. Humans transit time of meat is on average 40 hours. In that time the flesh in our bodies decomposes, rots and damages cells and organs.
Stomach structure is also having some differences. Humans stomachs has multiple chambers which is more similar to herbivores. On the other hand carnivores typically have single stomach chamber.
Carnivores also have high acid stomach juices. As they eat flesh, organs and bones the acid allows food to decompose into smaller pieces to make it easier to get out. Humans have much lesser amount of stomach acid because it is not needed to digest herbs, plants, fruits and vegetables.
Alen Dodić a visioner: On a Mission to Help the Masses
Author of the book "Heal yourself", a literary masterpiece that leaves an indelible mark on the reader’s mind. The book is already sold in more than 28 thousand copies. For now it is available in Croatian, Slovenian Macedonian, English and German language. After his education at the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies in Ithaca (NY), he dedicated his time to translate the new acquired knowledge and wisdom about nutrition into 300 pages of the book. The pages are imbued with the author’s profound understanding of the subject matter. The author skillfully crafted a book that speaks to readers of all backgrounds. It’s a testament to their ability to simplify complex ideas.
Here we will put some of the most interesting excerpts from the book and commentary on it.
Animal Products: Main Factors of Trouble
The protein content in human milk is four times lower than in cow's milk. For a human baby to double the weight, it takes 120 days, while in a calf it is only 47 days. We are not expected to grow three times faster.
It is not surprising that many mothers encounter complications in the transition of children from breastfeeding to cow's milk. Indigestion, abdominal spasms, haemorrhages in the intestines or anaemia, all these are possible health problems and many others.
The worst thing about eggs is the high concentration of cholesterol in the stomach, even three times higher than in meat. This is so that the chicken can develop without external energy in 21 days. In the egg is pure fat and cholesterol.
Nutritionists emphasize the value of eggs in the diet and their non-exclusion. By consuming eggs the only thing we can ensure is high cholesterol, which is a faithful participant in the narrowing of blood vessels and heart attacks.
Apart from cholesterol - which is not found in plants, there is not a single substance in the food of animal origin that plants are not richer in, but our body creates enough cholesterol for our needs even if we eat plant foods. Fiber, which is not found in animal foods, serves to facilitate digestion and prevent chronic diseases such as diabetes, blood diseases, haemorrhoids and colon cancer.
Through advertisements and expert advice of doctors convinced the population that with a plant-based diet it is not possible to enter a satisfactory amount of protein. The WHO said we only need 0.75 g of protein per kilogram of food we eat. The human body consists of 3% protein as much as plant foods.
Meat is dead and therefore we cannot call ourselves carnivores but vultures, because we eat meat that stays frozen in refrigerator for days, months, and sometimes years. Meat is hard to digest protein, and since it does not have enzymes that help our digestion - as is the case in a plant-based diet, bacteria and acids jump in on it, which lead the meat to rot, and raise acidity in the bloodstream. As a result of rotting, increased stomach acid and gases are created that travel through our body and do damage.
Children become prone to alcohol precisely because we spend our whole lives shoving sugar into their mouths, which in their small bodies turns into alcohol by fermenting. More and more common type 1 diabetes in children - precisely because when consuming sugar in the body destroys lizards. Sugar acts on the brain as an opiate and therefore forces to constantly increase the amount of consumption in order to achieve the previous effect. White sugar due to rapid burning did not give us the necessary energy, but it consumes cleansing bodies - antioxidants.
In modern times, the idea of "drawers with sweets" was popularized. Some households also have a whole pantry with sugar supplies. It's so normal that it's not normal. Children have access to sweets every day and it is understood that after lunch instead of fruit they get chocolate bar or gummy candies. With years of daily consumption of sugar, harmful consequences for the brain occur, resulting in addictions and mental difficulties in adulthood.
Cooked Food is Dead Food
Plants don't have brains or consciousness, but they're alive. Thanks to photosynthesis, they assemble the limb into plants and become parts of life, they become alive. When they enter our body, they speak the same language of DNA and therefore easily become part of us. That's why dead food just keeps us alive, because the body has one-sided communication and can't read the dead DNA record.
The silent communication that we are not aware of is taking place between us and food is crucial to the mechanism of our body. cells are our loyal teammates who make our lives possible. dead food affects our physical, mental and energy state. Our energy is not pure and does not flow with dead food in us.
Mental Health Issues
According to a new nationally representative Consumer Reports Survey of 1,947 adults - more than half of Americans regularly take a prescription medication which is on average four. Many in that group also take over-the-counter drugs as well as vitamins and other dietary supplements. Never in history have Americans consumed as much pills as they do today.
There are many cases where people come forward with chronic stress or nervousness in search of a medical solution. Then they are prescribed unnecessary pills with far stronger doses. After using them, the same patients experience harmful side effects in the form of depression and suicidality. Tablets are prescribed for absolutely everything. In many cases where they are by no means needed and where they have a counter effect and endanger human lives.
Lets see what author Dodić has to say on this topic.
Hospitals in every branch of medicine are focused on the consequence, not the cause of the disease. whether mental or physical. In order to feel good, we need a balanced ratio of hormones in the body. To be happy, we need the hormone serotonin. Tryphtan is an amino acid responsible for the production of serotonin in our body, and is found in nuts. Panic and depression are the result of poor dead food in which there are no quality amino acids that encourage the formation of hormones.
Sexuality & Food
Hormones play crucial role in functioning and development of sexual organs.
Estrogen is produced in the ovaries and is responsible for the development of female secondary sexual characteristics. It also regulates the menstrual cycle and affects the reproductive system, including the development of the uterine lining during the menstrual cycle. It is also present in males in smaller amounts.
Progestogen is Also produced in the ovaries following ovulation, progesterone prepares the uterus for a fertilized egg and supports pregnancy. It works in tandem with estrogen to regulate the menstrual cycle.
Testosterone is commonly associated with males, but testosterone is also present in females in smaller amounts. In males, it’s produced in the testes and is essential for sperm production and the development of male secondary sexual characteristics.
Therefore, the root cause of confusion in our body occurs if we eat a piece of an animal; we also ate her hormones. With this, we have caused a stir to the glands, but also to the brain. This explains the unnatural heightened hairiness in women and even male aggression in them, while some women are simply masculine. Men can also increase estrogen, which makes them more and more feminine.
Dr. Joel Kahn: The Holistic Vegan Cardiologist
Dr. Joel Kahn is a renowned cardiologist who emphasizes the importance of plant-based nutrition and integrative medicine for heart health. He is known as “America’s Healthy Heart Doc” and operates the Kahn Center for Cardiac Longevity in Bingham Farms, Michigan.
A popularized doctor who advocates a plant-based diet as an essence for a healthy heart and the whole body.
I stopped eating every animal product when I was 18 years old, so 46 years ago. So I’m a living, breathing, long-term vegan, long-term whole food, plant-based eater, and a healthy one.
No prescription drugs, no surgeries, excellent health, pretty low Glycan Age. And I think the diet is a part of it. You know, I give the most credit for intelligent discussions of nutrition to the University of Southern California scientists. Dr Valter Longo has done research with another ageing expert, Morgan Levine, PhD that suggests from animal models and then human studies, that a low protein diet is actually an advantage until your older years, you’re less likely to stimulate pathways that increase mTOR activity, increase IGF-1 levels, promote cancer, maybe promote atherosclerosis.
So he actually recommends 0.4mg/kg of protein until you’re in your mid to late 60s, which I’m getting pretty close to. That’s half of what the US government recommends. They recommend 0.8, and Dr Longo says in your mid to late 60s, you should increase the protein intake, but also lift some weights, get in the gym, and do some push-ups.
Said Dr. Kahn in his interview for Kahn Longevity Center .
