The automotive world is buzzing with excitement as Porsche unveils its latest masterpiece: the all-electric Porsche Macan. This second-generation SUV combines timeless design, cutting-edge technology, and exhilarating performance. Let’s dive into what makes the Macan Electric a true game-changer.
The two models that are initially available (as of February 2024) – the Macan 4 and Macan Turbo – mark the first-ever all-electric Porsche SUVs in a range that eventually will be exclusively fully electric.
On the Porsche International page we have configured our green Porsche Macan 4 Turbo in symbolic Aventurine Green Metalic colour for environmental awareness and luxury that go hand in hand!
The original Porsche Macan, introduced in 2013, quickly became the brand’s best-selling model. Now, the challenge was to build upon that success while embracing innovation. The new Macan achieves this delicate balance, maintaining its quintessential Macan identity while pushing the boundaries of electric mobility.
The bonnet of the new Macan features a shallower pitch, giving it a more sporty appearance than its predecessor, complemented by pronounced wings and shoulders that enhance its muscular stance. The wheelbase has been extended by 86mm, now measuring 2893mm, and is designed with short overhangs at both the front and rear.
Large windows create a comfortable, spacious, and bright interior, ideal for spending time. The vehicle's controls blend modern digital interfaces with traditional analog controls for elements like air vents and air conditioning.
The latest infotainment system in the new Macan boasts the advanced Porsche Communication Management. With the 'Hey Porsche' voice assistant, it can swiftly recommend routes, including those to the nearest charging stations. Additionally, the new Porsche App Centre enables passengers to access and install third-party apps directly in the new Macan.
With the launch of the Taycan in 2019, Porsche introduced its first-ever all-electric sportscar. It is now being joined by the new Macan which, for all second-generation models, will only be available in all-electric form. The aim is to offer the sportiest models in the segment – something that the performance figures of the new Macan clearly confirm. It sees the Macan 4 accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5.2 seconds, while the Macan Turbo hits the 100km/h mark from standstill in just 3.3 seconds.
In Germany, the new Macan 4 will cost from €84,100 with the new Macan Turbo starting at €114,600. Prices for the US will see the new Macan 4 cost from $80,450 and the Macan Turbo from $106,950. In the UK the new Macan 4 will cost from £69,800 with the new Macan Turbo from £95,000.
Another example of luxury and green. we love the new and emphasized initiative of Porsche and are happy to look forward to new models that will be exclusively electric super cars.
We wish you a safe and green ride!
